This summer has been busy with a new oxy-acetylene welding kit and diferent materials to play around with. The results are these copper swans, which were made after several trips to the swannery at Abbotsbury.

Also new both in scale and the sole use of steel is the horse. It stands 2.5 meters high and has an over bearing presence that looks down on you when confronted. This piece is much more open than alot of previous work due to the rigidity of steel. Alot of the strucutre of pure wire pieces comes from a necessity to counteract the natural twist.
